Free TikTok user finder: account info by username
Enter a TikTok username above. The TikTok user finder shows the public details of that account: the numeric user ID, @username, nickname, bio, verified badge, follower and following counts, number of videos and profile picture. It also shows when the account was created and the region its recent videos were uploaded from.
That helps when you want to check whether an account is genuine and how big it is, note an account’s permanent ID before it changes its name, or need the ID for an API. Your first searches each day work without signing up; after that a free SocialChecker account gives you up to 50 lookups a day. You do not sign in with TikTok, and the account you look up is not notified.
The tool only shows what TikTok makes public. The upload region tells you where videos were uploaded, not where someone lives. Last online time, phone number or email are not part of it. The FAQ below explains why.
What the TikTok user finder is for
Size up an account quickly
Followers, following, video count, bio and the verified badge tell you at a glance who you are dealing with. Impersonation accounts often copy the name and picture but have a slightly different @username and hardly any videos.
- Public stats at a glance
- Verified badge visible
- Helpful with copycat accounts
The ID stays, the name does not
The @username can be changed at any time, the numeric user ID stays the same forever. If you note the ID, you can find the account again later with the TikTok username lookup.
- ID stays the same across renames
- Current name can be resolved any time
- A unique reference for every account
For developers and analysis
Many APIs and analytics tools expect the numeric user ID instead of the name. Rather than digging it out of the page source, you get it here with one lookup and can copy it.
- Copy the ID with one click
- No digging through HTML source
- Result in your browser
No TikTok login, no trace
You sign in with a free SocialChecker account, not with TikTok. Since no TikTok account is involved, nothing shows up in the looked-up account’s profile view history.
- Email sign-up in a few seconds
- Up to 50 lookups per day
- No TikTok credentials

TikTok user finder FAQ
What information does the TikTok user finder show?
The numeric user ID, @username, nickname, bio, verified badge, follower and following counts, number of videos, profile picture, the account creation date and the upload region of recent videos.
Do I need an account?
Not for your first searches each day. After that you need a free SocialChecker account, which takes a few seconds to create (up to 50 searches a day). You never need a TikTok account and you never sign in with TikTok.
Will the account know I looked it up?
No. The lookup runs through SocialChecker, not through a TikTok account. There is no notification and no entry in the profile view history.
Can I see which country or region a TikTok account is from?
Partly. TikTok stores the region each video was uploaded from. The user finder checks the recent videos and shows which regions appear and how often, for example “United States, 12 of 12 videos”. That is a good hint, but not a home address: someone travelling or using a VPN uploads from another region. An account without public videos has no region to show.
Does the tool show when someone was last online?
No. TikTok does not publish an online status for profiles. You can see when an account last posted a video on the profile itself, or with the SocialChecker app if you watch the account.
Can I find out when a TikTok account was created?
Yes. TikTok returns the creation date with every profile, and the user finder shows it as a date. Renaming the account does not change it, the date belongs to the account, not the username.
Can I find someone’s phone number, email or real name?
No. That data is not public, and legitimate tools cannot provide it. Anyone promising it relies on leaked data or does not deliver. The nickname is freely chosen and does not have to be a real name.
Does it work for private accounts?
The profile header details and the ID usually yes, because TikTok shows them on private accounts too. Videos and stories of private accounts are not available.
What is the TikTok user ID, and is it the secUid?
The user ID is a plain number TikTok assigns to every account when it is created. The secUid is a different, long string used internally. This tool shows the numeric user ID.
Can I get the username back from an ID?
Yes, with the TikTok username lookup. Enter the numeric ID and you get the current @username.
Keep an eye on TikTok accounts automatically
With the SocialChecker app for iOS and Android you watch public TikTok accounts: push for new videos and stories, follower history and following changes.
