What is SocialChecker?
SocialChecker is an iOS and Android app for monitoring public Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat profiles: new posts and stories, follower and following changes, and deleted content — documented automatically, with push notifications.
Which platforms are supported?
Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat. You can watch profiles from all three platforms in the same app — your profile limit applies across platforms. On Snapchat only public creator and brand profiles are available, covering their stories and highlights; there are no posts or following lists there.
Am I really anonymous when watching stories?
Yes. SocialChecker fetches stories through its own connection without using your Instagram account. That means you never appear in the profile’s viewer list.
Will someone notice that I monitor their profile?
No. SocialChecker only reads publicly visible data and never interacts with the profile — no follows, no likes, no profile visits from your account.
Does SocialChecker work with private profiles?
No. SocialChecker only processes publicly available profiles and content. Private accounts are deliberately not supported.
Can I still view Instagram stories after 24 hours?
Yes. Stories from watched profiles are archived automatically as they appear and remain available in the app permanently — even after they expire on Instagram.
Can I see deleted posts or videos?
Posts that SocialChecker captured while monitoring stay in the archive and get flagged as deleted when they disappear from the profile. Content deleted before monitoring started cannot be recovered.
How do I learn about changes on watched profiles?
Via push notifications: for new stories, posts, follower and following changes or profile changes, and with Ultra also for highlight changes. Notifications can be toggled per profile.
Does SocialChecker track Instagram highlights?
Yes, with the Ultra plan. SocialChecker checks the highlights of watched public profiles once a day and tells you when a highlight is created, deleted, renamed or gets a new cover, and when stories are added or removed. The contents are archived, so removed stories stay viewable in the app. Changes are detected once a day.
How many profiles can I watch?
That depends on your plan: Basic includes 3 profiles, Premium 10 and Ultra 50. The limit applies to Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat combined, and profiles can be swapped anytime.
Where do I subscribe and how do I cancel?
Subscriptions are purchased and managed directly through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Cancellation works the same way: in the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account, anytime effective at the end of the billing period.
Do I need an Instagram or TikTok account?
No. You only sign up for SocialChecker (an email address is enough). Your Instagram or TikTok credentials are never requested or stored.
How does SocialChecker handle my data?
SocialChecker only processes the data needed to run the service (e.g. your email address and the watched profile names). Transfers are encrypted and no third-party platform credentials are ever stored. See the privacy policy for details.
