EasyComment alternative: SocialChecker compared
EasyComment is a credit-based web toolkit: comment and follower exports, a story viewer and a “recently followed” viewer for Instagram, plus TikTok tools.
The key point first: Instagram does not sort the following list by date. A tool that simply shows the first entries cannot know who is new. Only services that compare the list over time are reliable.

Where EasyComment is stronger
- Exports: comments and follower lists as files, which we do not offer.
- No subscription needed: you buy credits once, handy for occasional lookups.
- Facebook comments are supported too.
Where SocialChecker is stronger
- New follows with dates from a real comparison instead of a list fetched once.
- iPhone and Android app with push, so you do not have to check yourself.
- Stories, posts and deleted content are archived automatically.
- Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat in one app.
Which one fits you?
EasyComment fits if you want a one-time export of comments or a follower list.
SocialChecker fits if you want to keep specific profiles in view over time: new follows, stories and posts, automatically and with dates.
FAQ
Does the Instagram following list show who someone followed most recently?
Not reliably. We checked real profiles on 24 September 2026: new follows were at the top for some and in the middle for others, for example at position 258 of 556. IGDetective also states that since an Instagram update on 9 September 2026 the order no longer reflects when each follow happened. The only reliable way to spot new follows is to compare the list over time.
What is the main difference from EasyComment?
EasyComment fetches data on demand and charges credits. SocialChecker watches profiles continuously, compares the following list several times a day and notifies you in the app. SocialChecker has no export for comments or follower lists, though.
Do I need an Instagram account for either?
No. Both only read public data and never ask for your Instagram password.
